After 4 years, the premium Angus Third Pounder Burger line at McDonald’s been exiled to the land of misfit toys. After deliberating the last 3 months, McDonald’s will drop the burgers nationwide and add onto the Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese line according to Burger Business.
With prices starting at $4.49 these burgers were seen by most as just too much money for the value based customers at the Golden Arches. While the Angus offered different options such as full cut bacon and mushrooms, there is a potential void in the menu. But it seems like the QPC sandwich will soon get a bacon variety, satisfying the masses. Stay tuned.
