The chicken & waffles wave has been hitting the food industry for quite some time. It seems as though McDonald’s is testing out a new breakfast sandwich which emulates this sweet and savory taste. 11 Central Ohio McDonald’s restaurants are testing a Chicken McGriddle breakfast sandwich. The sandwich is very simple and consists of a McChicken Patty and surrounded by the syrup infused pancake like buns of the McGriddle line. Priced at either $1.49 or $2 depending on location, the sandwich is available through March 27th and will hopefully go nationwide if tested successfully.
