Starting this upcoming Monday, January 18th, KFC will be offering their new Nashville Hot Chicken nationwide. Since October of 2015, the Nashville Hot Chicken has been available in the Pittsburgh area as an exclusive test market. We were lucky enough to review it and came away extremely impressed.

Nashville Hot Chicken is a blend of spicy, smoky, and crispy fried chicken that originated in the Nashville, Tennessee area. KFC’s Chief Officer of Marketing, Kevin Hochman, think that this is the “biggest spicy chicken innovation since Buffalo wings in the 1980’s”.  The Nashville Hot is pretty sloppy to eat and has a hybrid blend of spice and glaze on it that leaves your fingers drenched.  KFC is highlighting the chicken’s nature by serving it in specially designed container so that customers can dip their biscuits into the sauce that falls off the chicken.
