While most of the attention today is focused on the freebie medium Dark Roast Coffee Dunkin Donuts is handing out today, they are also releasing a new beverage in the form of a hot and iced Pumpkin Macchiato. Dunkin is billing their macchiato as having layers of flavor, that will tantalize your senses of Fall.
While in terms of the actual coffee world, a macchiato is a simple shot of espresso with a dollop of foamed milk on top. Dunkin’s macchiato isn’t exactly that, but it’s still something that is pretty interesting to try with the pumpkin, espresso, and foamed milk layers that make up the beverage.
