The value meal battle has officially made its way to Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. The burgeoning list of value meals now consisting of Wendy’s, Burger King, McDonald’s, and Checker’s, is expanding once again, this time with another slight twist.
Instead of going the Wendy’s and Burger King route of going with nuggets for the chicken component, Hardee’s is instead offering a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Along with that, consumers will also receive a double cheeseburger, small fry, and a 16 oz soda. It may be the additional bun, but Hardee’s meal deal might be the cheapest calorie per dollar ratio in the fast food game, clocking in at 1390 calories with a regular Coke.
