Arby’s is currently test marketing a newly inspired Snack n’ Save menu that is aiming to eventually replace their value menu. With 15 items ranging from $1-$2.99, this is a direct aim at Wendy’s newer Right Price Right Size menu where QSR’s are letting the public know that you can get great value even if it costs a little more than $1.
Some of the items are being tested out nationwide, with the Mighty Minis being showcased predominately. Be sure to check back on Food Review Wednesday for our take on these. Other items include a new $1.99 Molten Chocolate cake, a loaded baked potato for $1.49, a Jr. Bacon Cheddar melt plus some old favorites including curly fries, Junior Roast Beef, and Mozzarella Sticks.
Every value menu needs a crazy whack a do item and this is no different. Arby’s has a breakfast’s answer to the Double Down with the Bacon Cheddar Potato Cake melt. Thick bacon and two slices of bacon are nestled between two potato pancakes. Potato cakes are used as a curly fry alternative at Arby’s and actually saves you 170 calories and 8 grams of fat over a small curly when you make the swap. So it seems likely that this one’s available all day.
