After an extremely successful testing phase in the spring, Wendy’s is set to release the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger nationwide the next two weeks. Featuring an artisan crafted pretzel bun, a Dave’s Hot n’ Juicy 1/4 pound burger, not only a slice of warm cheddar cheese, but also a nice smattering of warm cheddar cheese sauce as well, and then rounded out with Wendy’s new spring mix, red onion, tomato, bacon, and Sweet & Smoky Honey Mustard, this burger is bound to push the limits on flavor layers.
The burger will be available nationwide by July 4th, coming in at a suggested retail price of $4.69, this burger seems pricey for a QSR, but with such a heavy emphasis on quality, one can figure you’d be paying twice as much for this burger at any Fast Casual joint. We’re definitely excited to give it a try!
