Gone are the days where $4 value meals make sense. Wendy’s has now upped the market to a $5 value meal. Also gone are the days where a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger is satisfactory. We now live in a world where there is a Giant Junior Bacon Cheeseburger. As backwards and contradictory the idea of a Giant Junior may be, Wendy’s has entered the classic area sitting between value burger and feature premium burger. With double the beef, cheese, and bacon of the traditional JBC, this Giant is now seemingly neck and neck with a Dave’s Classic Single in heartiness. After adding a four piece nuggets, small drink, and small fry to the mix for a solitary $5 bill, this sounds like a decent bargain.
