While I’ve never personally measured either size sandwich, I’ve noticed on multiple occasions that my 6 inch sandwich was clearly smaller than it should be.  While it remains to be seen just how exactly quality control will take place to ensure the sizes in all of the locations, lawyers estimated that customers were being squeezed out of an average of $.45 with the smaller sandwiches.
