It’s well known in the fast food world that Hardee’s has a lab where they test hundreds of Thickburger options in hopes of finding the perfect combination of toppings for release. Hardee’s newest is now out with the Midnight Moonshine. Consisting of either a 1/4, 1/3, or 1/2 lb 100% Black Angus Beef Patty, applewood smoked bacon, garlic pepper onion straws, pepper jack cheese, and moonshine glaze, this is the first time I’ve heard of moonshine being used as a base for a sauce in the fast food world. This burger sounds tantalizing, but the 1/4 lb version packs in 810 calories, so you might want to clear your calendar before indulging.
