We’ve all wondered but most of us have probably been too lazy to actually bust out the ruler. Now seemingly, thanks to a couple of lawsuits, Time reports that Subway will now actually be forced to measure 6 inch and Foot long subs to verify their lengths. six icnh

While I’ve never personally measured either size sandwich, I’ve noticed on multiple occasions that my 6 inch sandwich was clearly smaller than it should be.  While it remains to be seen just how exactly quality control will take place to ensure the sizes in all of the locations, lawyers estimated that customers were being squeezed out of an average of $.45 with the smaller sandwiches.
