For years, Arby’s is testing the conceivable limits on what a fast food meat is. For the first time ever (from what I can tell) Italian Pork Loin, or Porchetta, is being featured in a sandwich made by someone making minimum wage. The pork loin is rolled, herbed, and then smoked for 8 hours and looks quite divine. The sub also features smoked provolone cheese, red onions, banana peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, red wine vinaigrette, and a nice looking garlic aioli. The sub will set you back 690 calories, but is probably worth trying because I’ve never had nor seen Porchetta.
