While news has spread for months about a new urban Taco Bell in the Wicker Park area of Chicago serving alcohol, we didn’t really have a good idea what kind of booze you could buy why gurgling down your Loaded Grillers. With the new restaurant set to open in the not too distant future, we have our first look at the Cantina drink menu along with the new happy hour themed shareables menu.
Along with some seemingly cheap glasses of beer, sangria, and red/white wine for $3, you’ll also be able to dabble in Twisted Freezes for a grandiose $7.19. Taking cues from the Freezes currently on the menu, patrons can add Rum, Tequila, or Vodka to Baja Blast, Cantina Punch, or Cantina Margarita Freezes for a delectable frozen concoction. It also looks like an exclusive Shareables menu consisting of many grabbables including assorted nachos and tacos will be available to induce happy hour customers looking to satisfy that hunger. The store’s liquor license is still pending but is set to be approved any day.
