What You Need to Know:
The salad comes in either a full or half size portion, ranging in price from either $6.49 for the full and $4.49 for the half. The full size salad has 450 calories and 40 grams of protein, while the half has only 240 calories.
The salad comes pretty much fully concocted, with the exception of the dressing. There’s a large conglomeration of ingredients so it’s hard to truly encompass all of them at once, but the salad really stands out for it’s vibrancy. There are many colors, drizzles, and textures that give this salad a premium and hearty feel.
The Sundried tomato grain blend is loaded with ingredients, all of which are generally seen as healthy by the foodie community at large. The white beans and chick peas are both dense and chewy, leaving way to a decent amount of fiber. The quinoa is present as well, giving out a subtle taste but honestly doing little for the salad other than buzz from its inclusion.
While differentiating factor for many will be the grain blend, to me salad actually stood out because of the basics; the chicken, dressing, cheese, and lettuce. The grilled chicken was juicy and still hot, leading me to believe the salad wasn’t prepared days ahead of time. The feta cheese was abundant and very savory. The hummus and balsamic creating a pleasing dynamic duo, going with a creamy and more oil based combination. Both of which were tasty and didn’t cause the salad’s nutrition to teeter off the tracks. The basic salad of the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were crisp, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Overall a very fresh tasting dish.
